NYWOW OPEN BETA
A NEW ADVENTURE BEGINS
Welcome to NYWOW!
After rigorous long hours of development, testing, and countless adjustments, we're excited to open the doors to our community!
NYWOW is a custom World of Warcraft 3.3.5a experience built around unique progression, challenging encounters, world events, and rewarding gameplay.
Most importantly, this is just the beginning. We're looking forward to building something special alongside our players.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During Open Beta, you'll get to experience many of NYWOW's custom features, including:-
Custom starter experience and progression The Ascension gear and upgrade system Unique world bosses and challenging PvE encounters Custom PvP activities and world events
- Exclusive rewards, collectibles, and much more!
Keep in mind that this is a beta. You may encounter bugs, balancing issues, unexpected downtime, or features that still need polishing. Changes will be made as development continues.
GETTING STARTED — TIPS & TRICKS- Visit https://nywow.net to register and find our How to Connect guide. Take your time with the introduction quests! They'll help you get familiar with NYWOW's custom systems. Pay attention to your Ascension progression. Upgrading your equipment is essential to taking on tougher content. Explore, experiment, and don't be afraid to ask other players for advice!
- Check the forums regularly for announcements, updates, and helpful guides.

Use our Report a Bug and Suggestions & Feedback sections to share your thoughts. When reporting an issue, please include as much detail as possible, including how to reproduce it and screenshots when available.
Every report, suggestion, and bit of constructive criticism helps shape the future of the realm.

Community Guidelines & Expectations
Welcome to the official NYWOW Community Forums!
Whether you're a new adventurer or a seasoned veteran, these forums are a place to discuss the realm, share experiences, help other players, and contribute to the future of NYWOW.
By participating in our community, you agree to follow the rules below.

01. RESPECT FELLOW MEMBERS
Treat everyone with respect, regardless of their experience, opinions, or background.
Harassment, bullying, personal attacks, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, and targeted hostility are not tolerated.
Friendly banter and disagreements are welcome. Personal attacks are not.
02. NO SPAM OR ADVERTISING
Keep discussions meaningful and relevant.
Do not flood threads, repeatedly post the same content, excessively bump topics, or advertise unrelated websites, servers, products, or communities without staff permission.
03. POST IN THE APPROPRIATE SECTION
Help keep our community organized by posting in the correct forum.
Use General Discussion for NYWOW-related conversations, Report a Bug for technical issues, Suggestions & Feedback for new ideas, and Off-Topic for unrelated discussions.
Before creating a new thread, check whether a similar discussion already exists.
04. NO CHEATING, EXPLOITS, OR MALICIOUS ACTIVITY
Do not distribute cheats, bots, malicious software, or instructions intended to compromise NYWOW or its players.
If you discover an exploit or security vulnerability, report it responsibly. Sensitive details that could enable abuse should be shared privately with staff rather than publicly posted.
Helping improve NYWOW is encouraged. Intentionally abusing vulnerabilities is not.
05. PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
Never publicly share another person's private information, account credentials, private conversations, or identifying details without permission.
NYWOW staff will never ask for your account password or two-factor authentication codes.
Impersonating staff members or other community members is prohibited.
06. KEEP CONTENT APPROPRIATE
Do not post pornographic material, graphic gore, malicious links, scams, or content intended to shock or disturb other members.
Avatars, signatures, usernames, and private messages must also follow our community standards.
07. RESPECT THE STAFF TEAM
Our moderators and administrators are here to keep the community organized, fair, and enjoyable.
Follow reasonable moderation instructions and avoid publicly harassing staff members over moderation decisions.
If you believe an action was made in error, contact an administrator privately and explain your concerns respectfully.
08. CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK IS ENCOURAGED
NYWOW is a custom realm that will continue evolving through development and community feedback.
We welcome suggestions, criticism, bug reports, and discussions about balancing, progression, PvP, PvE, and new content.
When giving feedback, explain your reasoning and offer constructive ideas whenever possible.
Disagreeing with a feature is completely acceptable. Attacking developers or other players is not.
09. NO SCAMMING OR UNAUTHORIZED TRADING
Do not use the forums to deceive players, coordinate scams, or conduct unauthorized real-money transactions involving accounts, characters, gold, or in-game items.
Any suspicious activity should be reported to the staff team.
10. MODERATION & DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Depending on the severity and circumstances of a violation, staff may take the following actions:-
[] Verbal or written warning[] Post editing or removal[] Temporary posting restrictions[] Temporary forum suspension
- Permanent forum ban
Serious violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning. Conduct that also violates NYWOW's in-game rules may be reviewed separately by the game administration team.
Repeated attempts to evade disciplinary action may result in additional restrictions.
